Today, TKGS had their annual Carnival Day.
Yoke Lin, Sally, Huiping, Viya, Viya's daughter and myself had come down to TKGS to tend to the TKGS Alumni stall. This year, we sold varieties of chocolates and biscuits, putu mayam with chicken curry set meal (with lime juice), papadum and different kinds of muruku. Viya had also brought some bangles and her daughter had used her very talented hands to draw artworks on the students’ hands.
We had only over an hour to sell all these items. But as we were short-handed, we were unable to catch up with the students’ enthusiasm. They were practically everywhere and anywhere, trying to push for sales.
Nevertheless, we persevere and maintain our cool. We did not give up although the rest of the stalls have already packed up.
After we packed up and calculate our earnings, we were proud to present to TKGS our profits of $147.50.
So, for those of you who have missed today’s activity, here are the highlights.
